I really can’t express enough how amazing Brian was from the get-go. I was a first-time homeowner and I walked into this process as if I were blindfolded, with so much nervousness and so many questions. Where do I begin with MBA? From the moment I started speaking with Danny Le (getting approved), at the start of the process, all the way to the very end (getting through underwriting) with Brianna V and Maria D., I truly could tell I was in the hands of some very competent, sharp, responsible, experienced people. Danny Le got me the lowest possible interest rate of anyone I know. I interviewed so many mortgage companies (an unhealthy amount) and Danny’s rate won by a massive margin every single time. Even after MBA paid for my closing costs, my rate was still under 3%. Mitchell C. was patient, helpful, and reachable during the DocuSign process. Brianna and Maria towards the end were immensely responsive and strategic. They were honest about the process, never over-promising or bullshitting me, but also keeping things positive, practical and moving along. As long as I was providing the documents and verifications they were asking for, they were always readying to take that next leap in the process. There was never a delay. Even the appraisal, which was ordered by them, was done exactly on time without issue. In general I’ve heard so many horror stories about buying a house, I really was prepared to experience my own horror story, but MBA came through like true mortgage lending scientists and I could not have had an easier journey. As a first time home buyer, Team Hunton was great with helping me throughout the process. At times I was unsure of what documentation may be needed throughout the whole process in applying to buy home. When we started our home search, we weren’t even certain which state we would purchase in. I was working six days/65+hours a week and we were entirely new to the home buying process. Brian worked with us to make sure we were well informed and helped get all of the paperwork arranged around our busy schedule. We ended up in a great home and were able to close two weeks early thanks to Brian’s rapid response to everything. Best of all, the down payment was close to half what I had expected!

We worked with Matthew Scott & Amanda Rockwell from MBA, both were very courteous & professional.  Amanda is the Sr. Loan Processor and she always kept the ball rolling with obtaining & submitting information to the loan underwriters.  She even responded to emails/texts on off-hours, going above and beyond to meet important deadlines. Buying a home is an extremely stressful event and Amanda was understanding of the pressure we felt and made the entire loan process go smoothly for us.

We worked with Nathalie to get approved for our first home loan! She was diligent and attentive from beginning to end! She educated us on the process and we trusted her input as we were making decisions throughout the process. We were thrilled when we got such a big credit to put toward our closing cost! She made sure we locked in at the right time and worked day and night to ensure a timely closing! She was always available for a call/text and kept us updated appropriately!

Brian, Christina, and Tristan helped us refinance our home recently. This is the fourth time we have used Brian and the team for either a home purchase or a refinance. We keep going back to them because they are incredibly helpful and work extremely hard for us. They take the time to explain everything to us no matter how long it takes (haha) to ensure that we fully understand the process. What a process! There were a few times during this home buying purchase I WOULD have been hyperventilating into a paper bag… if not for the MBA Mortgage team. Every-single-question (and many!) were addressed, answered, and the team even followed up!
