My wife and I went to Brian a long time before we got serious about buying a house. My wife and I both have a lot of Student Debt which is a source of stress. I actually get overtly catastrophist about money. He was very comforting and laid out a very easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan for us to become homeowners. Brian was very wise and optimistic about our options and, when we were ready to commit, made the process simple. I’ve heard horror stories about people buying houses and stressing out, breaking down, and even giving up. This was the opposite with Brian and all at MBA Mortgage. They were easy to contact, quick to respond, and even added some laughs when things were uncertain. Brian and everyone at MBA Mortgage made my wife and I feel like we were a priority and that they were personally invested in the purchase of our house. We ended up closing on October 2nd on a house my wife and I would consider the house of our dreams. As a first time home buyer, Team Hunton was great with helping me throughout the process. At times I was unsure of what documentation may be needed throughout the whole process in applying to buy home. Christina Destefano and Russ Vescovi were super helpful in the process, especially when I may had been confused on certain documents for the loan. The biggest thing for me is that they were very responsive in helping me identify the specific documents that were needed for the lender. Trying to purchase a home in the midst of Covid is probably the craziest thing I’ve done, and I went in with the intention that maybe the process would take a very long time due to being backed up with more clients than just me, however they were very on-top of things. I found the home I wanted, we started the process at the very end of August, and now I’ll be closing on my first home tomorrow (the process took about a month). I’m really happy I chose Hunton – MBA Mortgage for the process overall, Christina and Russ were great and very pleasant to work with.

Working with Brian and everyone at MBA was great. The mortgage process is convoluted and Brian laid everything out in an organized and easily understandable fashion. There were a lot of hoops to jump through for a USDA loan and he helped us all along the way and was available when I had to ask any questions. We had problems along the way with small things and we solved them quickly and kept the process moving. It was a lot to wrap your head around and having someone that completely understands the process is a must-have. I really can’t express enough how amazing Brian was from the get-go. I was a first-time homeowner and I walked into this process as if I were blindfolded, with so much nervousness and so many questions. From the start, Brian reviewed my info thoroughly and was very confident he could help me with a loan and easy-going, to boot. Whenever I came to him and his assistant, they were able to ease my worries and answer the endless questions I had. He never left me hanging — literally responding to emails and texts within minutes. And, he did the impossible for me — he was able to expedite my timeline in a way that leaves me in awe and forever grateful. I travel a lot for work, leaving me with very limited windows to look for a home and then go through the purchasing process. This was my first time going through the home-buying process, and there wasn’t a text/e-mail/phone call that Sebastian didn’t respond to ASAP. Where do I begin with MBA? From the moment I started speaking with Danny Le (getting approved), at the start of the process, all the way to the very end (getting through underwriting) with Brianna V and Maria D., I truly could tell I was in the hands of some very competent, sharp, responsible, experienced people. Danny Le got me the lowest possible interest rate of anyone I know. I interviewed so many mortgage companies (an unhealthy amount) and Danny’s rate won by a massive margin every single time. Even after MBA paid for my closing costs, my rate was still under 3%. Mitchell C. was patient, helpful, and reachable during the DocuSign process. Brianna and Maria towards the end were immensely responsive and strategic. They were honest about the process, never over-promising or bullshitting me, but also keeping things positive, practical and moving along. As long as I was providing the documents and verifications they were asking for, they were always readying to take that next leap in the process. There was never a delay. Even the appraisal, which was ordered by them, was done exactly on time without issue. In general I’ve heard so many horror stories about buying a house, I really was prepared to experience my own horror story, but MBA came through like true mortgage lending scientists and I could not have had an easier journey. MBA? More like MVPs! I plan to purchase more buildings in the future and I can’t imagine doing that without the MBA Mortgage team.

I had my first experience working with MBA Mortgage for a Loan Refinance. I had an excellent experience in working with them to close my deal. Working with Brian H and Brianna V, they provided top-notch service. The entire process was a very smooth transaction. 2018: We met Larry at an open house and he had some mortgage programs that our current broker did not offer. He was also very good at pretending to play the piano! Being first-time homebuyers Larry made the process simple, laid out everything for us step by step, and was only a call or text away. Once we found the house, he made sure everything was in order and ready to go. Larry made a very stressful house search easier since we knew that our mortgage was covered. He was even able to visit us at our closing, five stars, would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone. 2019: With mortgage rates dropping, we had reached out to Larry to see what our options were and if we could save any money. Larry is always quick to respond, and with good news too! He was able to save us a decent amount of money and right before Christmas too! The refinance took less than a month and had zero stress since we knew he had it covered. Will always be a repeat customer, Larry is professional, a great neighbor, and an all-around good guy.

We were buying new construction and we decided to switch our lenders at the very last minute as we believed that we were not getting the best rate. In this process, we contacted few lenders and Sebastian stood out the most. While the other lenders were trying to beat each other’s rate, Sebastian from day 1 provided with the lowest and the best rate. We did give him a very tight deadline to complete all the loan processes but he and his team did not disappoint. In the end, we got the best rate and also a very low closing cost. As a first time home buyer, the process of getting pre-approved for a loan was intimidating. Nathalie was knowledgeable and always available when I needed her. She was friendly but she did not sugar coat things. She told me exactly what I was eligible for and would even go as far as to crunch the numbers for me so I had an idea what my monthly mortgage would look like in specific houses we were looking at. I felt very comfortable with her which is important with such an important purchase. I would recommend her to anyone.

We worked with Sebastian when we began the (long) process of finding a house. We engaged him early on, before we started looking and he prepared us well. He gave us honest feedback and clear suggestions to maximize our financial foundation. Throughout the process he was wonderful. It was seamless. We were really surprised because we had heard so many horror stories. A year+ later he was proactive in monitoring rates and recommending a great chance to refinance.
